Newcastle-under-Lyme bin collections

A new collection schedule came in across Newcastle-under-Lyme on 5 October 2026, and some properties ended up on a different day. If your bins have been left out since then, check yours. Paper and card have their own free bag, separate from the blue bin.

All four collections were re-routed

The October re-routing covered rubbish, recycling, garden waste and food waste, so one container can be on a new day while another has stayed the same. Put your address into the day finder and check each one.

Binformation is a free Android app. Put your postcode in once and it sends a notification the evening before each collection, saying which bins are going. If the council moves your day for a bank holiday, the reminder moves with it.
