Tewkesbury bin collections
Small electricals don't need a trip to the tip in Tewkesbury: put them in an untied carrier bag beside your blue bin. The blue bin itself is fortnightly recycling, and the green wheelie bin is general household waste.
Which bin is which in Tewkesbury

Christmas and New Year collections 2026

Garden waste collection
It's run as a garden waste club, with membership from 1 April to 31 March and renewals open from early February until 1 April. The brown bin is collected fortnightly all year apart from two weeks over Christmas and New Year, and it needs to be out by 7am.
Weekly food waste collection
Weekly, in the green caddy.
Bulky waste collection from £27.50
£27.50 for the first item and £13.75 for each one after, up to six per booking. Households on housing benefit or council tax support get 50% off, booked by phone on 01684 295010.
Get told the night before
Binformation is a free Android app. Put your postcode in once and it sends a notification the evening before each collection, saying which bins are going. If the council moves your day for a bank holiday, the reminder moves with it.
