Fylde bin collections
Inside your home is fine for Fylde bulky waste collections: crews will take items from inside the property, Monday to Saturday, working with Furniture Matters. Food scraps go in the grey bin, since there's no separate food collection. Garden waste is £39 a bin for 25 collections, with no reduced rate for joining late.
Which bin is which in Fylde
Plastics and glass go in the blue bin, paper and cardboard in the brown. Containers need to be at the edge of your property by 7am.
Garden waste: £39 a year
£39 per bin for 1 April 2026 to 31 March 2027, which gets you 25 collections with a two-week break over Christmas and New Year. There's no reduced rate if you join part-way through, and a replacement sticker costs £7.50. Real Christmas trees can go in, chopped up. Artificial ones can't.
No separate food waste collection yet
Not collected separately. Food waste goes in the grey bin.
Report a missed bin
Report within two working days of your collection day. Over Christmas and New Year the missed-bin policy may be suspended.
Bulky waste collection from £26
£26 for up to three items and £50.25 for four to ten. Beyond ten it's charged by the hour at £94, and one fridge or freezer is £50.25. Bookings are by phone on 01253 658658, paying by card, and collections run Monday to Saturday, 9am to 5pm, from inside the property if needed.

Get told the night before
Binformation is a free Android app. Put your postcode in once and it sends a notification the evening before each collection, saying which bins are going. If the council moves your day for a bank holiday, the reminder moves with it.
