Chesterfield bin collections
Food scraps stopped going in Chesterfield's green garden bin when weekly food collections began in April 2026. They go in a free grey 23 litre caddy now, and if it isn't out by 7am the crew won't come back for it.

Get told the night before
Binformation is a free Android app. Put your postcode in once and it sends a notification the evening before each collection, saying which bins are going. If the council moves your day for a bank holiday, the reminder moves with it.
