Armagh, Banbridge and Craigavon bin collections
Three bins, all fortnightly, and the brown one takes food scraps and garden waste together. The council doesn't list a separate garden charge for it. Have everything out by 7am.
New collection days from 26 October 2026
ABC Council redrew its bin routes across the whole borough from the week of Monday 26 October 2026, and more than three in four households now have a different collection day. Black, green and brown bins are still emptied fortnightly and take the same things as before. The day has moved, and the lorry may reach you at a different time than you're used to, so have bins out by 7am.
Every household was sent a leaflet with a six-month calendar between 5 and 15 October. Lost it? The council's Find My Bin Day search has the same dates, so does the ABC Council app, or ring 03300 561 020.
Two catches while the new routes bed in. Some streets will wait longer than usual between collections, and the council suggests taking any overflow to a household recycling centre. A bin left out on your old day won't be emptied either: it waits for the next date on the new calendar. Assisted lifts carry on as before.

Get told the night before
Binformation is a free Android app. Put your postcode in once and it sends a notification the evening before each collection, saying which bins are going. If the council moves your day for a bank holiday, the reminder moves with it.
