Anglesey bin collections
On Anglesey the black bin waits three weeks between collections, while the recycling boxes and brown food bin go every week. Textiles and batteries are no longer taken from the kerb. Skip the £43 garden subscription and you can still take garden waste to Penhesgyn or Gwalchmai recycling centres for free.

Get told the night before
Binformation is a free Android app. Put your postcode in once and it sends a notification the evening before each collection, saying which bins are going. If the council moves your day for a bank holiday, the reminder moves with it.
