Adur and Worthing bin collections

Which bin is which in Adur and Worthing
The grey bin takes rubbish and the blue-lid bin (or blue box) takes recycling. Have everything out by 6.30am.
Garden waste: £99 a year
£99 a year, and unusually it's a weekly collection that runs all year, pausing only for the first two weeks after Christmas and New Year. A new bin can take up to six weeks to arrive, and your subscription starts on the first of the month after it does. If you only fill a bit now and then, 75 litre council sacks are sold at local retailers and you don't need a subscription to use them.
Weekly food waste collection
Weekly, in a 23 litre grey bin with an orange lockable lid plus a 5 litre kitchen caddy. Flats get a shared 140 litre bin with an orange lid.
Report a missed bin
Wait until after 2.30pm on collection day, then you have up to two days after the collection to report it.
Bulky waste collection from £59
Prices go by category: £59, £90 or £145 depending on what you're getting rid of.

Binformation is a free Android app. Put your postcode in once and it sends a notification the evening before each collection, saying which bins are going. If the council moves your day for a bank holiday, the reminder moves with it.
